a little late, but better than never...

well i had a really great time at scrapfest this year! i go mostly to visit with my bff's, meet up with other online friends and to schmooze a bit ;) a big wave goes out to Kimmie, Jennifer, Lesley, the sct girls Catherine T & Kerry M, and cs chicklet Jackie L, Kim & Cherie from the bug, Jennifer R, Ruby, Patti & Elia from the nook, Sarah and Kim from the scrapbook store, Kelly Panacci, Janice, Deana, Jennifer B, Vicki B, Holly, Andrea, Charlene... wow, i'm probably missing a few more dozen, but it was awesome to see everyone!

i only spent a whopping $13.00 to buy myself a new versafine ink pad in sepia brown. like i said i didn't go for the shopping LOL. i would have loved to have gone crazy spending, but right now it just isn't in the cards with me "off contract" and phil only working 1/2 time until august. i'm sure you all know what i'm talking about.

i'm into my second week of "no work" and it's been really nice to have the break. i've been busy tidying up the house, laundry (you know the regular house hold stuff). i've also been reading! a new found love... i'm currently reading "something borrowed" by emily giffin... so far it's pretty good, but i haven't really gotten into it yet. i've also read all of the "twilight series" which i loved! i read stephanie meyer's other book "the host" which i also loved... i shed a few tears thru that book. i am definitely in love with the paranormal books and lurve vampire stuff. i have just finished reading the 5th book in the "house of night" series by pc and kristin cast. i guess there is a total of nine books for sure to be coming out in continuation, but there could also be more? i really have enjoyed the series so far even though it's young adult genre. also the vampire academy series by richelle mead has been enjoyable, another young adult series. i have a long list of books i need to get to during my break, so if you don't hear from me, i'm probably sitting on my comfy marshmallow couch devouring a good book.

as for scrapbooking etc... i've been playing, more to come...

Wow! What self control you have! Only $13!! I wish! LOL Oh well -- I really *needed* everything I bought - or at least that's what I keep telling myself.

It was great seeing you at SF and sounds like you had a lot of 'reunions'.

Happy Reading!
